About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify growth markets, research business requirements, and develop and execute strategic plans to capture market share
- Organize and execute multifaceted sales plans and make direct contact with prospects
- Build collaborative relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop targeted go-to-market plans with national marketing resources
- Execute events and outreach campaigns to identify and engage targets and build the Roxtec brand
- Understand prospective accounts' needs and challenges and position Roxtec solutions accordingly
- Participate in pursuit processes to move prospects through all stages of the sales process
- Develop and negotiate competitive pricing strategies
- Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with leadership on business development targets, goals, and strategies
- Build networking relationships with customers, industry organizations, and business partners
- Serve as a consultant to leaders, project participants, and customers
- Build a sales pipeline sufficient to capture annual top-line growth targets
- Monitor industry trends and attend sales, trade, and product learning meetings
- Define sales potential, prepare budgets, and maintain sales tracking and administrative reporting
- Provide technical presentations and product installation training
- Use CRM software to manage daily sales activities, contact management, quotations, communications tracking, and project management
- Collaborate with peers and internal departments to maintain positive customer relations
- Maintain awareness of Roxtec internal policies and Core Values
Requirements
What you’ll need- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60%
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Adherence to Value Added Selling and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies
- Proficiency in time and travel management
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Exceptional experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple team members and decision makers
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience and involvement with industry associations and/or non-profit groups preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Regional travel required
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or comparable work experience
- 3 years of experience in B2B sales; technical and/or project sales preferred
- Required to wear PPE as needed
- Designated as a safety-sensitive position
- Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
