About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Royal Caribbean Group’s enterprise data governance programs
Advance the maturity of the enterprise data catalog and operationalize the data stewardship model
Document trusted data assets and maintain business and technical metadata
Improve glossary definitions and support lineage, ownership, certification, and stewardship standards
Coordinate stewardship workflows across business and technology teams
Schedule and hold stakeholder meetings for stewardship assignments, glossary reviews, metadata decisions, and governance approvals
Define critical data elements and report stewardship KPIs
Maintain and enhance the enterprise data catalog, including data assets, owners, stewards, classifications, and approved sources
Capture, validate, and maintain business, technical, operational, and governance metadata
Support lineage documentation and create requirements specifications, process flow diagrams, and business process models
Define data quality rules, monitor results, document root causes, track remediation, and escalate issues
Create SQL queries, reports, and dashboards for data quality, guest data inquiries, privacy escalations, and KPI reporting
Identify and execute process improvement opportunities
Partner with Legal, Privacy, Security, IT, Data Science, and business teams on responsible AI governance
Assist with AI governance platform implementation and monitoring
Document and govern AI use cases and datasets and prepare audit-ready evidence
Execute data subject requests and guest research escalation requests
Enhance and implement privacy escalation processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
3+ years data analyst or related experience
Proficiency with enterprise governance products or software solutions
2+ years supporting governance, stewardship, quality, delivery, or lifecycle management of enterprise data products, data domains, or critical data assets
Experience supporting enterprise data catalog, metadata management, data stewardship, data quality, business glossary, lineage, ownership, certification, and governance workflow initiatives
Practical experience working with business data owners, data stewards, data engineers, analysts, privacy teams, and technology partners
Working familiarity with catalog and stewardship platforms such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, Databricks Unity Catalog, or similar enterprise tools
