About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop concepts grounded in consumer insights and aligned with the Royal Caribbean brand promise
- Create innovative ideas that deliver differentiated and superior guest experiences
- Partner with Insights & Analytics to develop research plans supporting brand equity and long-term strategy
- Own multiple projects and develop broader strategies with the Senior Manager
- Identify short- and long-term innovation strategies
- Analyze data to make data-driven recommendations responding to consumer needs
- Foster collaborative cross-functional teams and partner with newbuild, operations, strategy, analytics, and product development teams
- Socialize design guidelines and strategic vision
- Create presentations showcasing strategy and concepts for senior management and the CEO
- Report to the Senior Manager, Product Development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
- 5+ years of business, product/brand marketing, or strategy experience
- 5+ years of experience in the travel/cruise industry
- Strong knowledge of the travel and hospitality sectors, ideally in a corporate setting
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong creative thinking and ability to develop innovative ideas and creative problem solutions
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication at senior executive levels
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Strong business acumen
- Willingness to take personal initiative
- Ability to collaborate, build sustainable relationships, and interact with all organizational levels
- Experience working with internal and/or cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to analyze data and research results to make recommendations
- Ability to translate business complexities into strategy
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking
