About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver campaign materials and rollout based on the campaign mix developed with the Director, Channel Sales and key stakeholders, including translations where required
- Champion Asia market campaigns across email, advertising, direct mail, venues, and internal communications to ensure on-message, on-brand execution
- Support the Director, Channel Sales in designing and implementing Asia marketing strategy
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement marketing activities
- Coordinate the appointed PR agency and PR activities across the Asia region
- Coordinate the Shanghai-based digital agency’s WeChat and Little Red Book accounts and support development and growth plans for China
- Maintain Silversea brand integrity from a design-oriented perspective
- Contribute ideas to marketing and PR teams to drive revenue and customer acquisition
- Contribute to ongoing content programs supporting email marketing and social media calendars
- Coordinate ship visits with journalists in Singapore and journalist sailings worldwide with PR and global teams
- Maintain accurate budgets, campaign planners, and critical path schedules
- Serve as first point of contact for Asia trade marketing co-ops and coordinate their review, approval, and implementation
- Report marketing data and results and develop insights and strategies to improve conversion
- Lead the local social media agency and build official online channels such as WeChat
- Support additional APAC marketing duties, including AUNZ and global initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar discipline
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing team within the service industry (e.g. tourism, cruise, airline, hotel)
- Proven track record in campaign execution (brief to rollout), including email and social media
- Exposure to a sales-oriented environment
- Proactive and ambitious, used to working in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
- Experience working with luxury or premium brands is desirable
- Knowledge of the travel industry is desirable
- Knowledge of another Asian language is desirable
