About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the business to develop and implement people aspects of business plans and objectives
  • Provide people advice, challenge and guidance to senior management and line managers throughout the colleague lifecycle
  • Triage key people issues and seek support from the relevant People or legal team
  • Support and coach colleagues and line managers
  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • Mentor and guide junior People team members and less experienced line managers
  • Manage recruitment activity and support shortlisting, interviews and employment documentation
  • Conduct talent gap analyses and support succession planning and workforce planning
  • Implement mentoring and coaching programmes
  • Develop and deliver management induction and development programmes
  • Drive engagement and EDI metrics
  • Support implementation of an employee engagement survey solution for Pharmaceutical Press Limited
  • Analyse colleague experience across the colleague lifecycle and prioritise interventions
  • Oversee colleague surveys and reporting
  • Support internal communication and engagement activities
  • Support payroll and pension inputs and actions
  • Track people metrics, contribute to team planning and ensure compliance with ISO requirements
  • Deliver services in line with the shared services SLA

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a people partner with a successful track record in complex, fast-paced organisations undergoing a period of change
  • CIPD qualified or QBE
  • Significant commercial employee relations experience and knowledge
  • Ideally, experience navigating the people impacts of change, including TUPE, contracts, culture and change management
  • Ability to create people plans and actions, seeking support and guidance as appropriate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to influence at all levels
  • Change orientation and a focus on improving people services, systems and processes
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
