About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver RPM’s people operations aligned with business goals
  • Act as a human resources management consultant for the board of directors, senior managers, and wider team
  • Advise and guide on HR matters
  • Manage organisational change matters
  • Process employee data
  • Provide case management
  • Support recruitment
  • Process payroll
  • Ensure benefits, policies, and processes are up to date
  • Ensure HR operations run smoothly across administrative and strategic activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to build trusted relationships through a professional but personable approach with Board, Managers and employees
  • Generalist HR experience including employee relations, performance management and L&D
  • Solid understanding of HR best practice
  • Exercise sound judgement and seek guidance with confidential issues when needed
  • Analytical and solution oriented
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Thorough knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software, including payroll
  • Experience with Moorepay, HiBob HRIS, People platform, or ATS would be a plus
  • Comfortable working in a standalone role
  • Likely to be CIPD Level 5
