About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide word processing and document production services for clients
- Utilize logs and/or tracking software for document production work
- Assess job requests and ensure completion throughout the task lifecycle
- Perform document production, proofreading, intake, and workflow coordination functions as needed
- Edit, proofread, convert, create, transcribe, or otherwise complete document production requests using established procedures, standards, and formats
- Use required equipment, technology, software, and hardware
- Communicate job or deadline concerns to team members, lead, supervisor, or client
- Meet contracted service delivery deadlines
- Troubleshoot basic software or hardware problems
- Foster continuous service enhancement and client relationship building
- Perform quality assurance as requested
- Adhere to Williams Lea Tag and client policies
- Use equipment and supplies cost-effectively
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of document production experience, preferably in a legal, banking, or large corporate environment
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong keyboarding and typing skills
- Familiarity with software programs for editing and/or creating documents
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner
- Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
- Good judgment and decision-making consistent with business needs and policy
- Good problem-solving skills, including knowing when to escalate issues to a supervisor
- Ability to maintain professional composure under immediate deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
