About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, presentations, and client correspondence
  • Develop solid understanding of client business and competitive environments, including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors
  • Create thumb-stopping social media content and develop a basic understanding of social media guidance for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Collaborate with studio and creative teams to develop compelling content
  • Conduct media relations efforts, including media monitoring, trend and article flagging, media list development, analysis reports using Cision, Trendkite, Google Alerts, and media outreach
  • Support daily interaction with clients and prospects, collaborate with team members, develop strategic recommendations, anticipate challenges, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Communications or Public Relations; previous experience within healthcare or pharma preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of the MLR process, including proficiency in using platforms such as Veeva
  • Base understanding of data/regulatory processes (e.g., clinical trial phases, FDA approvals)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Curiosity and comfort with integrating AI tools into communications and workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and take ownership of tasks
