About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit PowerPoint presentations, including animations, films, photos, formatting, tables, notes and accompanying documents
- Draft, edit, format and proofread documents, forms, notes and guidance for external and internal use
- Ensure documentation is consistent in style and format according to RMT branding guidance
- Apply updates consistently to all relevant PowerPoints and documents
- Compile information from emails and documents into one place
- Carry out general administrative tasks
- Coordinate training resources and liaise with external suppliers
- Arrange design and printing of workbooks
- Order materials from Oxford University Press and track stock at the warehouse and headquarters
- Coordinate and manage new trainer resources and returned resources from leaving trainers
- Arrange half-termly distribution of resources to trainers
- Support administration for team meetings and conferences
- Set up and arrange dates for team, leadership and training meetings
- Set up and arrange induction periods for newly recruited trainers
- Read and analyse training evaluations
- Add updates to the Internal homepage, including half-termly cleanup of Training and School Portal sections
- Create internal and external surveys using Microsoft Forms
- Organise internal systems logically and archive older content
- Undertake other reasonable work requested by the Project Manager and/or CEO/Directors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent detailed knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong IT skills
- Experience of PowerPoint essential
- Confidence in Word and Excel
- Database experience desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Ability to manage workload effectively
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Efficient administrative skills, including planning, organising and prioritising
- Ability to write succinct copy
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and Oxford University Press representatives
- Team player willing to step in and help when needed
- Ability to work 8.30 to 17.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
- Must comply with reasonable requests from the Project Manager and/or CEO/Directors to undertake work of a similar level
