About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with customers, business teams, and technology teams to lead, facilitate, and implement EDI customer integrations
  • Participate in design reviews and work with the architecture team to assist in application testing
  • Answer EDI inquiries from internal and external parties using the EDI support team's ticketing system
  • Research root causes and create resolutions for EDI errors
  • Work with business teams, customers, carriers, and third parties to intake and prioritize EDI fixes and enhancements
  • Design solutions, write requirements, and help offshore developers develop, test, and implement EDI solutions
  • Review open EDI items with business teams through daily and weekly calls
  • Participate in weekly architecture review calls for complex mapping enhancements
  • Train internal business colleagues on EDI and EDI systems when required
  • Foster teamwork and motivate others for success
  • Complete additional small projects and assignments as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of technical experience in applications support or program/project management
  • Client-facing customer service experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience mapping in IBM Sterling B2Bi and IBM Sterling File Gateway (preferred)
  • Experience setting up AS2 and SFTP in IBM Sterling B2Bi and IBM Sterling File Gateway (preferred)
  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry (preferred)
  • 2 or more years of EDI and/or TMS application support experience (preferred)
  • 3 or more years of business analysis experience in API web service integration, development, and strategy with SOAP and REST APIs (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Swagger, CSV, JSON, XML, Plain Text, X12, and WSDL formats and documents (preferred)
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile or Kanban methodologies (preferred)
  • High-level experience and familiarity with Dell Boomi (preferred)
