About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders
Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken
Update receivers and customers on load status
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries and verify on-time, undamaged arrival
Take check calls from drivers and ensure loads deliver on time
Validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages and complete documentation
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments
Accept or decline loads based on account manager direction
Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of logistics experience
General knowledge of the transportation industry
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
High school diploma or equivalent (listed as preferred)
