About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the project-specific quality management strategy by implementing the three phases of control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up.
  • Oversee the Project Inspection Test Plan for CSA and MEP installations prior to commissioning.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily QA/QC activities for the Ryan and Trade Partner Quality Teams.
  • Communicate quality management status and risks to project, leadership, and client teams.
  • Assist with training project team members on QA/QC programs and required software.
  • Coordinate and participate in preparatory meetings and quality meetings.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
  • Set quality management expectations with trade partners for inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Manage the Inspection Test Plan and maintain logs of field inspections, test reports, supporting documentation, and photos.
  • Participate in first work inspections and conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor compliance.
  • Identify, document, monitor, and track deficiencies and corrective actions.
  • Stop work when necessary to resolve safety or quality matters.
  • Review Architect/Engineer field reports and communicate quality issues.
  • Support completion list, punch list, and phase turnover activities.
  • Monitor Quality Management Dashboards and direct additional quality management support.
  • Provide quality management communication to the client through site walkthroughs and meetings.
  • Capture and share lessons learned with project teams and trade partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, structural engineering or construction management
  • 5+ Years of construction quality control experience
  • Familiarity with data center construction best practices
  • OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety certifications
  • Professional Certifications like CQM-C, ASQ, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with project management software like Procore, AutoDesk, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, Smartsheet
  • Experience executing the Three-Phase Control System (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up Phases) for all major construction activities.
  • Mission-critical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication with trade partners, project team members, and owner representatives
  • Ability to manage fast-paced schedules and phased turnovers
  • Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
