About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the project team in completing designated projects while learning Ryan processes, procedures, and business policies.
- Help generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals.
- Monitor and maintain shop drawing logs and shop drawing coordination.
- Learn project dimensional control requirements and field verify dimensions to back check shop drawing approvals.
- Assist with vendor and subcontractor delivery coordination and tracking.
- Learn Ryan safety policies and procedures.
- Gain understanding of overall site logistics.
- Participate in the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.
- Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.
- Accompany Ryan personnel and the Owner on punchlist inspections, record punchlist items, and monitor completion.
- Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule.
- Assist the Cx Manager in creating and managing a detailed commissioning schedule.
- Assist the Cx Manager in resolving critical commissioning issues.
- Manage critical equipment deliveries to the project site.
- Develop knowledge of critical MEP infrastructure for data center buildings.
- Assist the field team in quality and commissioning walkthroughs or inspections.
- Manage commissioning documentation control through communication with the client, trade partners, and internal project team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
- Have prior Commissioning experience
- Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
- Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore).
- Design-build commercial construction experience.
