About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the project team in completing designated projects while learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies
  • Generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals
  • Monitor and maintain shop drawing logs and shop drawing coordination
  • Learn project dimensional control requirements and field verify dimensions
  • Coordinate and track Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries
  • Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Gain an understanding of overall site logistics
  • Participate in the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process
  • Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs
  • Accompany Ryan personnel and the Owner on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items and monitor completion
  • Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field
  • 1+ year of experience in commercial construction
  • Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects
  • General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems
  • Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore)
  • Design-build commercial construction experience
  • Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
