About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure all phases of mission-critical projects performed by the company or subcontractors meet the desired level of quality from inception through turnover.
- Capture and share lessons learned with suppliers and project teams.
- Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities.
- Recommend implementation of corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances and quality issues.
- Attend factory witness tests for OFCI and CFCI equipment and systems.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, resolve, and implement solutions to quality issues.
- Review Construction Documents for errors and omissions as part of Quality Control.
- Generate startup reports documenting equipment readiness.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, and control systems testing and submit testing, calibration, and turnover documentation.
- Conduct routine job site audits and site walks to ensure quality installations, code compliance, and adherence to safety requirements.
- Attend required safety training and comply with company and site safety regulations and requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
- Three years of related experience required.
- Previous experience in Construction Project Management focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering (MEP) systems is required.
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle a variety of project tasks.
- High level of professionalism, honesty and integrity.
- Ability to travel as needed for project success.
- Knowledge of complex data center MEP Systems preferred.
