About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal (FMCSA, DOT) and State regulations and Company policies
- Serve as subject matter expert for the drug and alcohol program and pre- and post-employment processes
- Provide guidance and policy interpretation
- Complete complex transactions
- Identify, analyze, and resolve critical issues with the highest level of accuracy, accountability, and reliability
- Manage and monitor various program transactions using multiple applications
- Work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have experience ensuring compliance with DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Efficiency in responding to written messages through a computer system
- Technological literacy and mastery of web browsers and basic office software such as Outlook and Word
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Functional expertise
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office environment at intermediate level
- Two (2) years or more in a functional service area required
- Two (2) years or more relevant work experience required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- No travel required
