About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining efforts for assigned business segments
- Support FP&A Finance/Segments and coordinate with multiple departments
- Manage financials for assigned accounts/product lines, including monthly close, P&L review, cost and revenue accrual analysis, revenue reconciliations, and journal entries
- Consolidate, prepare, and analyze financial data to identify cause-and-effect relationships and business drivers
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales to understand financial results and communicate findings to upper management
- Present close results, operational data, and forecasts to senior leadership
- Lead miscellaneous projects spanning one or more locations
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals
- Conduct periodic operational audits to ensure appropriate controls are in place and effective
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Experience, Required
- 6 years or more in Accounting/Finance or related field, Required
- Advanced knowledge of financial concepts and principles, including operating margin, EBT, cash flow, balance sheet, cost of capital, depreciation, and ROE
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Ability to derive innovative solutions with little direction
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to present information and ideas clearly and understandably
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across organizational levels
- Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- No travel required
