About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own reliability, availability and performance of developer platform services and self-hosted infrastructure
- Manage patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation for infrastructure and tooling
- Define SLIs, SLOs and SLAs; lead incident management; report DORA and operational metrics
- Build observability, automation and disaster recovery capabilities
- Manage vendor relationships, support SLAs and licensing
- Ensure compliance with change management, audit and control requirements
- Lead, mentor and grow DevOps/SRE engineers
- Partner with platform, security, engineering and architecture teams to define standards and guardrails
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling across GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions hosted runners
- Administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud repository governance, branch policies, access controls and enterprise configurations
- Drive vulnerability remediation by triaging scanner findings, prioritising risk and tracking SLAs
- Follow change management processes and maintain CMDB records
- Design and implement ServiceNow self-service workflows and service catalogue items
- Provision, secure and optimise AWS services supporting developer platform infrastructure
- Produce documentation, runbooks and enablement material to drive self-service adoption
- Engage vendors and senior stakeholders on high-visibility platform initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering, including leading teams
- Strong experience operating CI/CD platforms and self-hosted build infrastructure at scale
- Deep AWS, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Proven SRE practices: SLOs, incident response, capacity planning and disaster recovery
- Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation and vendor management
- Understanding of compliance and ITIL-aligned change management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK and configuration management tools
- Solid experience with AWS compute, networking, storage, IAM and ECS/EKS
- Familiarity with ServiceNow workflow/catalogue configuration and Databricks or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field is preferred
- Experience with CI/CD migrations across platforms
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and developer agents/MCP integrations
- Experience building developer productivity metrics and dashboards using DORA or SPACE frameworks
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimisation
- Must be based in Hyderabad, Telangana or Gurugram, Haryana
