Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the credit ratings process for an assigned portfolio of bank and securities firm credits
  • Lead quantitative analysis, issuer engagement, committee preparation, and rating publication
  • Manage ongoing surveillance for an assigned portfolio
  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis and identify developments affecting creditworthiness
  • Research capital frameworks, operational risk, and liquidity risk
  • Contribute to credit insights, peer comparisons, and industry commentaries
  • Analyze complex or less clearly defined credit issues and recommend appropriate approaches
  • Engage with issuers and internal partners to gather information and communicate analytical views
  • Share analytical knowledge and guide junior colleagues
  • Produce independent credit opinions informing investors, issuers, and the broader market

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in credit or equity research, banking, risk management, underwriting, or a related analytical field
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, apply accounting concepts, and conduct fundamental credit analysis of financial institutions
  • Understanding of fixed income and debt capital markets and their application to credit analysis or research
  • Ability to evaluate complex information and exercise sound analytical judgment within established frameworks
  • Ability to communicate recommendations clearly and effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English, including conducting meetings, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly in writing and verbally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • FRM (Financial Risk Manager) designation or equivalent risk management certification preferred
  • Experience contributing to analytical projects or team initiatives and working effectively across functions
  • Experience providing guidance or sharing technical knowledge with junior colleagues
  • Experience using coding or programming tools to support financial analysis or data processing
  • Demonstrated interest in improving analytical processes, quality, or efficiency
  • Final-stage candidates must attend at least one in-person interview
  • Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week
