About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and KPI scorecards using DAX and Power Query
Build and support Microsoft Fabric solutions, including BI gateways, database connections, Dataflow Gen1 and Gen2, data pipelines, Lakehouse architecture, and OneLake
Connect and combine data from databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and business-managed files
Ensure data is accurate, reliable, and ready for reporting
Create AI-powered report experiences and visuals
Develop clear prompts to help users explore data and gain insights
Lead daily team activities, coordinate priorities, remove blockers, and provide practical guidance
Identify and deliver improved workflows, reusable tools, standards, and automation
Improve quality, speed, and consistency of BI delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant educational background in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Professional experience delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions
Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI
Advanced Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, semantic models, and performance optimization
Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience, including gateways, database connections, Dataflow Gen2, Lakehouses, and OneLake
Experience building AI-supported visuals or report experiences and writing effective prompts
Experience leading day-to-day team activities
Ability to improve workflows, introduce reusable solutions, and drive practical innovation
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead meetings independently
Ability to manage priorities, work with limited supervision, and adapt to changing business needs
Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and ALM practices
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or AWS and data warehousing concepts
Preferred: experience with Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, or other AI-supported analytics tools
Preferred: experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or related development and automation tools
Preferred: experience supporting or mentoring BI developers
Flexibility required for 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST shift
