Key responsibilities & impact

Ship product features end to end from the Next.js frontend to the Django backend
Maintain high UX and UI quality while shipping new features
Learn how 3D models, formats and pipelines work in the product
Own product areas and proactively propose what to build next
Own product features from idea through release without requiring detailed specifications for every task
Build refined interfaces in Next.js, approximately 60% of the role
Implement and maintain backend features in Django and PostgreSQL, approximately 40% of the role
Integrate third-party AI model APIs
Manage servers and maintain platform reliability while handling substantial user data
Use AI coding tools daily while maintaining quality
Work directly with the founder and take ownership of product decisions and delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years building web products across frontend and backend
Strong experience with Next.js on the frontend
Strong experience with Django and PostgreSQL on the backend
Hands-on experience managing servers and working with Linux
Strong product taste and attention to clean UX/UI and details such as animations, shadows and polish
Experience shipping a product with real users, ideally in a startup, as a founder or through personal side projects
Ability to drive product development independently
Active use of AI tools to improve productivity and work quality
Curiosity about emerging AI capabilities and ability to identify pragmatic applications for AI
Bonus: experience with 3D models or the 3D space, including meshes, formats, Blender, Blender headless or similar pipelines
Bonus: experience scaling a product
Bonus: experience with serverless GPU platforms such as Modal
Bonus: experience with Neon database, Celery or third-party AI model APIs
