About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with international accounting standards
- Support the month-end close process
- Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Analyze financial data and provide insights supporting business decisions
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, and Operations to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy
- Perform intercompany invoicing and debt chasing as required
- Enter data in the group financial system
- Check and approve employees’ expenses
- Perform payments on time and monitor cash flow
- Perform month-end and year-end close, reconciliation, and reporting
- Assist and support statutory audit and tax control
- Reconcile local books and SUN system
- Check and ensure entity-level compliance status
- Perform other duties according to group and legislation requirements
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and issues requiring Finance management attention
- Act in accordance with Safeguard Global values and ethics
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of experience in accounting role desired
- Experience in an international company is a plus
- Experience with financial accounting and balance sheets
- Data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills, including English Language
- Excellent Excel skills
