About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the business and execute the Home Office people strategy
  • Partner with business leaders, functional teams, and subject matter experts to maximize business outcomes
  • Leverage organizational structures and talent to deliver critical business objectives
  • Partner with SLT leader, SVP, and VPs to align on and execute the people strategy for the assigned function
  • Influence talent decisions, organizational structures, and critical hiring initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with required trainings, talent check-ins, performance reviews, calibrations, engagement survey action plans, award processes, and other PLD programs
  • Assess leadership development needs and partner with Talent Management and Development to design, develop, and facilitate leadership training
  • Provide performance management consulting and calibrate top/bottom performers with leaders
  • Create talent action plans, monitor gaps, and report progress
  • Participate in selection processes and influence hiring managers to raise the talent bar and build diverse teams
  • Champion change efforts and lead teams through change
  • Maintain associate relations and foster an inclusive, safe, and positive people culture
  • Provide individual coaching to associates as needed
  • Partner to build onboarding plans for new leaders
  • Minimize legal risk and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial, insurance, litigation, associate, and other sensitive information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 10+ years experience in Human Resources (Business Partner) supporting mid to large size businesses with matrixed operations
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience handling associate relations issues and dealing with labor laws
  • Well-developed written presentation, organization, and editing skills
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaboration skills and ability to contribute within a team setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-active and solutions oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve results through others
