About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new sales opportunities within agreed target accounts and markets
  • Prospect and engage appropriate contacts through telephone, email, LinkedIn and other agreed channels
  • Follow up marketing-generated leads, event contacts, website enquiries, partner introductions and other prospect activity
  • Conduct initial discovery to establish business requirements, current environment, relevant stakeholders and potential SafePaaS fit
  • Develop qualified opportunities and maintain appropriate next actions through the sales process
  • Arrange and participate in prospect meetings, presentations and product demonstrations
  • Maintain accurate account, contact, activity and opportunity information in Salesforce
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up of prospects and developing opportunities
  • Work with Marketing on agreed sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Provide feedback on prospect response, market requirements and opportunity development
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of SafePaaS products, use cases and sales plays
  • Attend sales and company meetings as required
  • Support SafePaaS events, exhibitions and other prospect-development activities
  • Undertake other reasonable sales activities supporting company sales objectives
  • Create and develop qualified sales opportunities and resulting sales pipeline
  • Achieve approximately four to six qualified opportunities per month once fully trained and operating at normal productivity
  • Support prospect engagement, conversion, opportunity progression, follow-up discipline and CRM accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Inside sales experience within enterprise software or technology sales
  • Ability to independently develop prospective customers into qualified sales opportunities
  • Ability to plan and execute a structured approach to sales development
  • Confident communication with business and technical contacts by telephone, email, video and social channels
  • Ability to understand prospects' business requirements and relate them to relevant SafePaaS capabilities
  • Ability to interact effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, Consulting and Support
  • Self-motivated, disciplined approach to organizing sales activities, prospect follow-up and pipeline development
  • Experience with enterprise applications, ERP, identity, governance, risk, audit or compliance advantageous
  • Good understanding of working in a start-up environment advantageous
  • Office-based sales experience, ideally telesales
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and social media
  • Experience with modern sales tools
  • Personal desire to achieve targets and career progression
