About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager with all food and beverage operations
  • Assist the Senior Food and Beverage Manager with staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling staff
  • Directly manage staff and interact with customers
  • Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory
  • Train, educate, and enforce responsible alcoholic beverage service and evaluate compliance with corporate procedures
  • Develop and enforce service, sanitation, product, and food-quality standards
  • Ensure cash-handling procedures are documented and enforced
  • Collaborate with coworkers to ensure compliance with service standards, inventory controls, and cash-control procedures
  • Conduct physical inventory audits and perform research and reconciliations
  • Encourage team compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Complete company-wide and job-specific safety training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely organized with elevated time management and prioritizing skills
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Must be able to work fluently in English
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies, procedures, regulations, and required training
  • Report safety incidents in Origami Risk on the same day they are reported
