About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary insights partner to Global Sales and Global Partnerships executive leadership
- Translate commercial questions into analytical work and analytical work into actionable decisions
- Build trusted relationships with venue leaders and property-level sales leadership
- Represent the insights function in client-facing pitches, renewals, annual business reviews, and property leadership meetings
- Set the agenda for business measurement
- Own reporting and measurement for partnership sales performance, including pipeline, pacing, close rates, category coverage, and revenue against plan
- Build sponsor fulfillment and delivery analytics for renewal conversations
- Develop renewal risk, whitespace, and prospecting analytics
- Standardize partnership performance definitions and reporting across properties
- Partner on valuation and market study work with feasibility and consulting teams
- Lead analytics for season, group, premium, and single-event ticket sales
- Support pricing strategy, demand and pacing forecasts, inventory and yield management
- Deploy lead scoring, propensity, churn, and retention models through CRM with Central Insights
- Build pipeline, productivity, and representative performance reporting
- Support premium and new-build sales with pricing, positioning, and take-rate analysis
- Recruit, develop, and lead directors, managers, and embedded analysts
- Establish intake, prioritization, delivery standards, and portfolio-wide reporting
- Partner on data architecture, CRM data quality, model deployment, and AI-enabled tooling
- Bring thought leadership on analytics, AI, and commercial measurement practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years in analytics, insights, business intelligence, or quantitative consulting, including meaningful time interacting with senior organizational leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading and scaling an analytics team, including managing director- or manager-level talent
- Experience in sports, entertainment, live events, or venues is strongly preferred
- Track record of building analytics that support revenue functions such as sponsorship, ticketing, premium, or media, and evidence that the work was adopted and changed decisions
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business analytics, statistics, economics, or a related field
- Experience building an analytics function where one did not previously exist, or standardizing analytics across a decentralized portfolio, is a strong differentiator
- Fluency in commercial analytics: pricing, forecasting, pipeline and funnel measurement, segmentation, and performance measurement
- Hands-on analytical capability; SQL, Excel, Python, R, and Tableau experience is useful
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tooling such as Claude Code
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms (Salesforce) as both a data source and an adoption channel for analytics
- Consultative stakeholder management across internal leadership, venues, and clients
