About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently responsible for achieving all sales targets within the assigned area of responsibility, particularly order intake, retail sales, profitability, and revenue targets
  • Analyze market coverage of the MAXUS dealer network, identify potential and coverage gaps, and acquire, evaluate, negotiate with, and recruit authorized dealers
  • Responsible for the operational management of the dealer network within the sales territory, including revenue and margin structures, dealer support, and partner performance evaluation
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize, integrate, and expand the dealer network
  • Plan, manage, and implement regional marketing and sales activities
  • Organize and conduct customer and hospitality events
  • Collect, analyze, and report on market and competitive developments as well as customer needs
  • Negotiate product pricing with dealer partners
  • Develop potential sales partners and investors within the region
  • Introduce and support the implementation of sales and commercial policies at authorized dealerships
  • Coordinate internal specialist departments to support dealer partners and resolve operational challenges
  • Coordinate with other company departments in managing the sales business
  • Support projects related to the sales business
  • Provide cover for other team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in business administration or engineering, or several years of relevant professional experience in sales or the automotive industry
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in sales or the automotive industry
  • Demonstrable success in automotive sales and dealer network management
  • Extensive professional experience in developing, negotiating, and expanding dealer networks
  • Target-oriented and proactive approach to successfully achieving sales, volume, and profitability targets
  • Strong knowledge of market analysis and the design and implementation of local marketing activities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with business-fluent German and English
  • Strong negotiation skills, communication and teamwork abilities, high commitment, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interest in, and ideally experience with, electric vehicle technology
  • Technical expertise in vehicle dealer sales models
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
  • German Class B driving licence
