About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate high-level growth strategies into actionable roadmaps, monitor execution, and address roadblocks
  • Own pipeline value, health, and bookings performance across the full portfolio, including commercial and COCOM growth targets
  • Set and deliver annual and quarterly growth targets across traditional defense, commercial, and Combatant Command markets
  • Coordinate business development, marketing, operations, and finance around strategic objectives and priorities
  • Drive accountability and collaboration through clear communication of goals, deadlines, and expectations
  • Advise the Growth Officer with insights and recommendations for decision-making
  • Build and manage KPI dashboards covering growth objectives, market penetration, and revenue generation
  • Prepare and drive executive-level performance reviews, board meetings, strategy sessions, and partner engagements
  • Organize and prioritize the Growth Officer's calendar and ensure follow-through on key initiatives
  • Co-own and operationalize growth strategy across four military customer sets and commercial markets
  • Govern the capture portfolio and chair investment councils directing B&P spend
  • Maintain senior DoD relationships at SES and Flag Officer level
  • Represent SAIC at C-suite and Board level in defense and commercial contexts
  • Own the design, build, and performance of the Army Navy Business Group's BD infrastructure, including organizational structure, processes, tooling, and performance standards
  • Lead change management to drive adoption of growth objectives and strategic priorities
  • Lead special projects including market expansion, competitive analyses, and M&A evaluations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field and 18+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, business development, program management, or consulting
  • 5+ years in VP-level or equivalent senior leadership roles
  • Demonstrated bookings accountability across defense and commercial markets
  • Established senior DoD relationships at the SES and/or Flag Officer level
  • Experience with COCOM market engagement and capture governance at scale
  • Strong analytical, project management, and executive communication skills
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Dynamics 365, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools such as Gemini and CoPilot
  • Knowledge of the government contracting industry and the Government Acquisition process
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and budgetary planning
  • Experience with CRM systems, data analytics platforms, and financial planning tools
  • High integrity and confidentiality with a strong sense of ownership
  • Visionary yet pragmatic approach to leadership and execution
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Adaptability and curiosity to navigate complexity and ambiguity while consistently adding value
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
