About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Track schedules, requirements, funding, approvals, and delivery dates using tools and dashboards
  • Maintain and share status reports, program updates, and progress summaries
  • Recommend solutions to resolve delays and ensure milestones are met
  • Track and manage physical property, equipment, and software licenses
  • Oversee software license renewals
  • Coordinate property turn-ins and disposals in compliance with program guidelines and maintain audit records
  • Collaborate with Navy logistics, supply officers, and property administrators to monitor and account for assets
  • Assist the Government Sponsor and System Program Manager in planning and coordinating program activities
  • Ensure documentation and program requirements reflect team feedback and meet compliance standards
  • Facilitate communication between planning and execution teams
  • Serve as primary liaison among the Government Sponsor, System PM, DoD contracting officers, Navy logistics specialists, and supply personnel
  • Provide status and property tracking updates to Navy leadership and stakeholders
  • Monitor schedules, asset allocation, and task progress to identify issues or delays
  • Develop solutions and mitigate risks with stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to streamline program tracking and property management processes
  • Maintain and improve inventory systems and data accuracy
  • Keep comprehensive records for reporting and audit purposes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience required; years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Proven experience in program-level tracking, operational support, and asset management in government or defense-related projects
  • Proven experience in environments requiring adherence to strict protocols, such as military, government, or controlled industries
  • Knowledge of secure IT systems such as SIPRNet and CAF
  • Knowledge of procurement policies for IT hardware/software and asset management procedures
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills for developing and managing tracking systems, dashboards, and program reports
  • Experience managing digital assets, tracking property, and administering software license renewals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum Secret clearance required
  • Must be eligible to receive a TS/SCI clearance
