About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support operational testing of various types of security equipment located in the nation’s airports
Perform manual data collection using mobile handheld technologies
Download data stored on security equipment
Conduct operator interviews
Time processes and procedures
Evaluate vendor/contractor-provided training
Provide daily activity updates to site leads in a timely manner
Pass through security equipment to test equipment and/or procedures
Collect data under supervision of site, shift, or experienced data leads
Review collected data and adjudicate anomalies identified by site lead or data analysis personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma + 2 years relevant experience or Associates + 0
Collects data under the supervision of a site lead, shift lead, or experienced data collector
Reviews collected data to adjudicate anomalies identified by site lead/data analysis personnel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well with others in a team
Professional dress and demeanor
Responsible, dependable behavior and professional focus in stressful environments with noise and hard deadlines
Ability and willingness to stand for long periods during an 8-hour shift
100% travel required; each trip may last 2 weeks to 3 months
Ability to fly on any size aircraft, including smaller aircraft
Willingness to travel to various US locations for assignment duration
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Comfort working in tight spaces; ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk across catwalks
Ability to obtain DHS suitability
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
