About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and direct CTS personnel providing Remote Pilot Operator support
- Direct RPO schedules
- Monitor and oversee daily operations within the area of responsibility
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of RPO time cards
- Support air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration at Chicago ARTCC (ZAU)
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of experience as a Remote Pilot Operator (RPO)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood
- RPO Supervisor certification equivalent to that required of an RPO
- Experience as an RPO at ZAU ARTCC is prioritized
- Experience working in either the Terminal radar lab or En Route lab
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Working knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65
- MS Office Suite proficiency, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with tablets, notebooks, and applications
- Knowledge of FAA e-LMS
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required
