About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and coordinate PMO operations, ensuring consistent performance, compliance, and delivery quality
  • Maintain and update the Program Management Plan, staffing forecasts, and organizational charts
  • Support Program Directors/Managers in planning, organizing, and directing technical and management activities across multiple task orders
  • Serve as a primary operational liaison with the Contracting Officer’s Representative and leadership
  • Manage escalation procedures, risk identification, and mitigation planning
  • Coordinate subcontractors, Government stakeholder communications, and administrative/operational support
  • Monitor burn rates for Time & Material and Labor Hour task orders
  • Ensure timely and accurate contract deliverables, time reporting, ad-hoc reports, and COR meeting materials
  • Track subcontractor costs, awards, and FAR/CAS compliance
  • Support procurement actions and management of subcontract dollars
  • Coordinate staffing actions, onboarding/orientation, and FTE forecasting
  • Implement and enforce QA/QC standards across task orders and PMO functional areas
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, suitability, PII handling, and access control requirements
  • Support IT risk assessments, ISP enforcement, and VPN/network security compliance
  • Maintain continuity of operations planning and documentation
  • Facilitate COR meetings and executive-level briefings
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Talent Management, Subcontracts, Procurement, FSO/Suitability, and Network Security

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in program/project management on federal IT contracts
  • At least 2 years in a PMO operations or management role
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-task-order, multi-disciplinary IT programs in a federal government environment
  • Proven track record overseeing financial management, staffing operations, subcontract management, and quality assurance on large-scale IDIQ contracts
  • Experience serving as a contractor liaison with Government CORs and agency leadership
  • Familiarity with FAR compliance requirements and federal contract reporting obligations
  • Experience with federal financial reporting tools and labor tracking systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare executive-level briefings and reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across a large, geographically distributed workforce
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / Suitability clearance
  • May require occasional travel to customer site
