About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions
  • Develop and execute system test solutions in accordance with engineering documentation
  • Participate in, prepare, and execute comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures
  • Support system- and element-level test planning and test readiness reviews
  • Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system
  • Support development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software/hardware system integration testing
  • Develop innovative test automation solutions and support software development teams focused on DevSecOps solutions
  • Ensure personnel management actions are completed and tasks are conducted in accordance with contract requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS
  • Familiarity or experience with continuous integration and deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo
  • Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with use of Jira and Confluence
  • Experience sustaining UEWR and/or PARCS ground-based radar systems
  • Experience writing scripts using scripting languages such as Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, and Tcl
