About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the US Space Force and Space Systems Command in operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars
Develop and execute system test solutions in accordance with engineering documentation
Ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete
Participate in, prepare, and execute subsystem- and enterprise-level test plans and procedures
Support system- and element-level test planning and test readiness reviews
Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system
Support development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software/hardware system integration testing
Develop innovative test automation solutions
Support software development teams focused on DevSecOps solutions
Ensure personnel management actions are completed and tasks are conducted in accordance with contract requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience
Active Secret Clearance
Experience using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS
Familiarity or experience with continuous integration and deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo
Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket
Experience with *ix operating systems
Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and use of Jira and Confluence (desired)
Experience sustaining UEWR and/or PARCS ground-based radar systems (desired)
Experience writing scripts using Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, Tcl, or similar scripting languages (desired)
