Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies aligned with federal law enforcement agency goals and objectives
  • Manage complex projects from initiation to completion while ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with federal law enforcement agency leaders and key stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring security and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate internal and external project teams and optimize resource allocation
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and advise on adoption of new tools and systems
  • Ensure solutions comply with federal regulations and security standards
  • Implement quality assurance and quality control measures
  • Prepare and present progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics to agency leadership and stakeholders
  • Oversee work milestones end to end, coordinate and write technical documents and business process flows, and provide weekly leadership updates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 18+ years of relevant experience as a Program Manager
  • 10+ years of requirements management and program oversight
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations and security protocols
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and foster collaboration
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes
  • Experience with federal government program management
  • Working knowledge of microservice architecture, cloud services, Java-based web applications using SpringBoot, Angular or React, and SQL databases
  • Familiarity with security vulnerability remediation/documentation
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud migration and cloud concepts
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Jira documentation and standardization
  • Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must reside within the GWA/commutable area
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification is a plus
  • DHS and CBP experience is a plus
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
