About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures
- Define and develop business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics
- Conduct current-state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best-practices identification, and organizational assessments
- Plan and implement process improvements, including future-state design, change management, and transition planning
- Interface with customers, computer services, client services, and other project areas
- Oversee development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures
- Apply Agile and SAFe methodologies to align strategy, manage portfolios, improve collaboration, and accelerate value delivery
- Interpret policies, regulatory and governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance
- Provide continuous process-analysis oversight to operating entities
- Coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements
- Conduct client interviews
- Deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control
- Perform cost-benefit analysis
- Provide technical solutions to difficult problems and independently develop solution approaches
- Contribute to specific programs and projects
- Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues
- Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and twenty (20) years or more experience; or Master’s degree and ten (10) years or more experience
- Degree in engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline is required
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects
- Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements, business processes, and workflows
- Proficiency in creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams
- Experience with business modeling techniques and tools such as UML and BPMN
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar documentation tools
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar project management and tracking tools
- Understanding of database concepts and basic querying skills
- Experience with data analysis, interpretation, and presenting findings
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools
- Ability to translate technical information into business language for non-technical stakeholders
- Presentation skills and experience facilitating workshops and meetings
- Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make decisions based on sound judgment
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior analysts and team members
- Experience managing and coordinating cross-functional project teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining project documentation, business requirements, and process flows
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work environments
- Experience with FHiR, HL7, or EDI X12 transactions, specifically 278 and 275, is a plus
- Advanced certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Six Sigma, CSM, or SAFe SCRUM MASTER are preferred
