About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage contracts and proposals in support of SAIC's Army Navy Business Group
- Prepare, negotiate, accept, and manage government contracts
- Ensure contract acquisition and fulfillment comply with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to mitigate program risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Master's degree and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
- Additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree
- US citizenship
- Experience managing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing government contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements
- Ability to handle complex contractual issues and collaborate with program and finance teams to mitigate program risks
- Understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration
- Knowledge and experience with FAR, TINA, and CAS
- Cost proposal experience, including risk and mitigation reviews, approval process coordination, cost narratives, compliance, and contract-related proposal submission responsibilities
- Critical thinking and informed decision-making ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage fluctuating workloads and multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
