About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and implementation of integrated systems solutions to support enterprise objectives
  • Develop and maintain automation workflows for software build, test, and deployment processes

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and other IT teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Conduct systems analysis and evaluation to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities
  • Ensure systems integration aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards
  • Provide expert guidance and support for DevOps tools and practices
  • Manage and monitor integrated systems for high availability, performance, and security
  • Lead root cause analysis for system issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend beneficial tools and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years or more of related experience in systems integration and automation within a DevOps culture
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance
  • Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their management APIs
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
  • Employment will be contingent upon having/obtaining a DHS Public Trust clearance prior to starting
  • Preferred: Certifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator)
  • Preferred: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Preferred: Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration
