About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and configure ServiceNow applications using CMDB modules
Work on several customers' platforms during the same period
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
Perform data analysis, integrations, and migration activities
Customize ServiceNow catalog features, workflows, and functionalities
Customize ServiceNow asset management features and integrations with existing client software
Create catalog items and customize workflows
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
Provide technical support and maintenance for ServiceNow implementations
Stay current with ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration
Four additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
Must have or be able to obtain ServiceNow CIS in one or more of: SPM, Data Foundations, DISC, SAM, HAM
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Script, and PowerShell
Understanding of ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM best practices and frameworks
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and third-party integrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred: experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and other ITOM/ITAM functionalities
Preferred: familiarity with CMDB and its role in ITOM and ITAM processes
Preferred: prior experience in IT asset management and software license management
