About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using modern web technologies and low-code platforms
Build and style responsive, user-friendly interfaces within the Mendix platform
Develop and maintain backend REST services and business logic supporting platform capabilities and agentic AI workflows
Contribute to agentic AI components using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith
Support development and deployment of cloud-based services and infrastructure on AWS using OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, and SQS
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, and Terragrunt
Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions
Support testing, debugging, and performance optimization
Maintain documentation for system architecture, APIs, and development processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience; or Master's degree and 0 years of experience
2–5 years of professional software development experience
Experience building front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience developing backend services and APIs, including RESTful service design and complex business logic implementation, using Python, Java, or NodeJS
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment
Pass CompTIA Security Plus Examination within 90 Days of Employment
Must be a U.S. Citizen, no dual citizenship
Candidates must have the ability to get a secret clearance
Preferred: Experience with ReactJS and Mendix
Preferred: Python development and Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and/or LangSmith
Preferred: Experience with AWS services including OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, or SQS
Preferred: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Packer, or Terragrunt
Preferred: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
