About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, develop, and execute test cases for web applications, APIs, and supporting database components
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing following Agile software development principles
Document test results, track defects, and verify resolution through collaboration with developers
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement
Validate integration with Microsoft SQL databases and verify data integrity across systems
Support test automation initiatives where applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree and two (2) years of practical experience; six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree
Experience testing web applications, APIs, and database-driven systems
Familiarity with Agile software development processes
Understanding of software testing methodologies and defect tracking processes
Experience with test management or defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, including ability to query databases for validation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desire to continuously improve testing practices and technical skill sets
Active SECRET Security Clearance
