About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Cameo Systems Requirements Models for new design, sustainment, and overhaul of shipboard radar systems
  • Use SysML in Cameo to define system architecture, interfaces, behaviors, and data flows
  • Execute tasks according to the SETR process and applicable radar technology, IEEE, and NAVSEA procedures
  • Develop and deliver SETR documentation and artifacts, including SEMP, TEMP, IMP, BDD, and RTVM
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate requirements and solutions
  • Facilitate and participate in reviews, providing analysis and recommendations to address risks and improve solutions
  • Ensure compliance with IEEE 15288.1, IEEE 15288.2, NAVSEA PEO IWS Technical Review Manual, military standards, and customer-specified processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field and two (2) or more years of experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree with 0 years of related experience
  • Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience with MBSE tools and frameworks, specifically SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Knowledge and experience working with the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process for program management
  • Familiarity with SETR-associated documentation, including SEMP, TEMP, IMP, RTVM, and BDD
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering concepts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret Clearance to start and a Secret Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Preferred: strong expertise as a moderate to heavy user of Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Preferred: understanding of shipboard radar systems and related radar technologies
  • Preferred: knowledge of NAVSEA PEO IWS Technical Review Manual requirements
  • Preferred: familiarity with military standards relevant to radar systems, such as MIL-STDs
