About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join SAIC's Land Border Integration team as an IT Systems Integration Analyst.
Keep infrastructure running to support Customs and Border Protection's border security mission.
Provide Tier 3 IT systems support across a wide range of technologies.
Test, apply, and maintain server configurations and related security patches.
Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements or optimizations.
Analyze system logs.
Create troubleshooting documentation and standard operating procedures for repetitive tasks.
Develop automated processes using Windows Batch and PowerShell scripting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
Extensive experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with cloud-computing services such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.
Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience providing Tier 3 IT systems support across Windows, Linux, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Certificate Services, Group Policies, and ServiceNow.
Experience using Windows CLI and Linux shell scripting.
Proficiency in Windows Batch and PowerShell scripting.
Proficiency with SSH.
Knowledge and experience with configuration management.
Experience evaluating system performance and recommending improvements or optimizations.
Ability to review and perform advanced analysis of system logs.
Experience creating troubleshooting documentation and SOPs.
Experience in a rapid-paced, time-sensitive, high-quality environment.
Familiarity with C# and Visual Studio.
Good technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills.
Knowledge of software design principles and modern interface standards, including APIs and web services.
Excellent team and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Bachelor's plus five years of experience or equivalent.
Must be Clearable (CBP BI Public Trust).
