About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and maintain multi-year platform adoption roadmaps for strategic accounts
- Architect unified identity governance models spanning human, machine, and AI agent identities
- Advise C-suite and VP-level engineering leaders on identity security strategy, regulatory architecture, and technology investments
- Define and maintain value measurement frameworks
- Quantify breach risk reduction, compliance gains, and cost avoidance for executive reviews
- Guide customers through AI agent identity governance using SailPoint Agentic Fabric
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable identity governance architectures
- Identify recurring governance challenges and architectural anti-patterns across enterprise customers
- Synthesize cross-account patterns into frameworks for Product Management and Engineering
- Partner with Customer Success Managers and Customer Value Partners to align technical strategy with commercial outcomes
- Author technical strategy content and present at customer advisory boards
- Contribute to SailPoint's body of knowledge and mentor less senior advisors
- Learn SailPoint products, architectures, consulting practices, and internal team structures
- Support customer engagements, Executive Business Reviews, maturity assessments, and Business Value Realization touchpoints
- Design integration roadmaps involving ServiceNow, SAP, AWS, and Workday
- Lead vertical-specific assessments and co-create success plans with customer stakeholders
- Advocate for customer needs to Product and Engineering teams
- Mentor other architects and promote standard out-of-the-box features over complex custom code
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in identity and access management (IAM), identity governance and administration (IGA), and enterprise security architecture
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluent in French and or German
- Industry-recognized cybersecurity and architecture certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, CISA) are highly preferred
- Relevant SailPoint platform certifications are strongly desired
- Ability to advise C-suite and VP-level engineering leaders
- Knowledge of identity governance, AI agent security, and enterprise architecture
- Ability to translate technical realities into strategic business risk language
- Ability to work with regulations including DORA, NIS2, SEC cyber disclosure, SOX, and HIPAA
