About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the operating cadence, including staff meetings, quarterly planning, all-hands, and leadership events such as EM/IC Summits
  • Track commitments, set agendas, and partner with Finance on budget management and headcount planning
  • Translate Trust & Infrastructure roadmap priorities into organization-wide planning, resourcing, and leadership visibility
  • Oversee headcount monitoring, position approvals, backfills, sign-on bonuses, and location strategy
  • Partner with Recruiting and HR to unblock hiring and support hiring managers
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning, variance analysis, RLOAs, and organization-level metrics reporting
  • Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and AI-powered productivity tools
  • Manage engineering communications, announcement channels, promotions, and all-hands messaging
  • Support culture initiatives, intern programs, and the Engineering Blog
  • Bridge engineering leadership, Finance, HR, and cross-functional teams to drive clarity, discipline, and momentum
  • Serve as an operational bridge to Trust & Infrastructure teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 14+ years in business operations, strategy, finance, or related field, preferably in high-growth tech
  • Proven success as a partner to senior technical leadership
  • Experience with Trust, Infrastructure, or Platform teams is a plus
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, headcount planning, and variance analysis
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Prior Engineering Business Operations or Chief of Staff experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Workday, Tableau, and AI productivity tools
