About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with senior leadership (VP+) on strategic objectives, product direction, roadmaps, growth goals, and retention strategies
- Acquire and clean data, build data models, and distribute insights such as performance drivers, retention analyses, and behavioral personas
- Partner with data engineering and product engineering to instrument and structure data assets measuring product success
- Own delivery with data and business intelligence engineers, turning insights into pipelines, algorithms, and self-service dashboards
- Research, develop, and implement automated algorithm deployment pipelines
- Evangelize data products that drive action or product improvement
- Help grow Salesforce’s data culture through learning sessions, new tools, and process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in product analytics or data science
- Analytical thinker who uses data and scientific methods to solve business problems
- Proficiency in analytical programming languages such as Python
- Expert in SQL
- Expertise in end-to-end data development, including model design, quality review, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience building with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and context engineering
- Experience developing and deploying data science models in a cloud environment
- Charismatic storyteller able to lead growth conversations with senior leadership
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate in a cross-disciplinary environment
- Related technical degree
- Experience with Spark, Presto, Hive, or similar technologies for storing and analyzing large amounts of data (preferred)
- Experience with time series forecasting methods (preferred)
