About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set and own the roadmap, outcomes, and product strategy for brand and role-based websites
- Own the user experience and partner with design to build trusted websites
- Set and defend success metrics, including pilot activation, failure-cluster coverage, recommendation acceptance, and agent quality lift
- Make product trade-offs and discontinue initiatives that are not working
- Prototype with coding agents before writing specifications
- Dogfood the product using real customer data and evaluate its performance
- Read traces, understand the evaluation harness, and collaborate closely with engineering during discovery
- Run the design partner program, lead pilot calls, extract requirements, and turn customer pain into shipped products
- Bring customer feedback into product decisions and distinguish real needs from workarounds and one-off requests
- Ship small, learn, and iterate in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate with peer product managers across runtime, authoring surfaces, evaluation, and Observability portfolios
- Communicate with engineers, designers, executives, and business partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience shipping products for technical users (developers, admins, or SMEs)
- Proven track record of scope and impact in an enterprise or startup environment
- Daily user of coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
- Substantive knowledge of LLM orchestration, tool use, and evaluation frameworks
- Experience with evaluation harnesses, annotation flows, and failure clustering
- Comfortable with ambiguity and biased for action
- Ability to prototype early and turn fuzzy problems into measurable product bets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to rally teams across engineering, design, and operations while holding your own with executives
- Ability to synthesize signals across a design partner cohort and distill customer pain into product requirements and shipped products
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or analytical discipline (preferred)
- Engineering background or equivalent hands-on depth
- Comfortable reading code, reviewing APIs, prototyping in a notebook, and partnering with engineers on real trade-offs
- Experience with agent-building and evaluation tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, LangSmith, Braintrust, Langfuse, agent frameworks, and headless CMS
- Experience with websites and customer-facing pilot or design-partner programs for early-stage AI products
- Prior experience on a 0-to-1 or innovation team
- Design sense and ability to turn messy systems into clean primitives with opinionated defaults
- Experience operating with autonomy in a highly cross-functional environment
- Experience with CRM and Marketing Technology ecosystems, web design, Slack, and Contentful
