About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own solution design across the Discover, Define, and Design stages of the Salesforce Delivery Methodology
Translate customer requirements into clear, buildable solution designs
Evaluate and recommend Slack and Slack AI capabilities versus custom configuration
Partner with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and customer stakeholders to align solution design with scope, timeline, and success measures
Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, functional specifications, and configuration workbooks
Lead design workshops with customer technical and business stakeholders
Facilitate trade-off discussions and drive toward validated solutions
Surface design risks and resolve them cross-functionally before they impact delivery
Improve design practices and reusable design patterns using AI-native tooling
Identify Salesforce integration points and design cross-cloud solutions centered on Slack
Support post-launch adoption by accounting for change management and long-term platform maturity

Requirements

What you’ll need

8-10+ years of solution design, architecture, or technical consulting experience, preferably in SaaS and/or professional services
Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale solutions involving collaboration, workflow, or integration platforms
Working knowledge of, or ability to quickly ramp on, the Salesforce Delivery Methodology and Slack/Slack AI product capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills for translating technical design decisions to customer stakeholders and delivery teams
Hands-on familiarity with integration patterns and API-based architecture, ideally including Salesforce products
Collaborative mindset and ability to partner with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and customers
Natural curiosity, love of learning, and habit of sharing design knowledge and patterns
Familiarity with Salesforce products and their integration with Slack is a plus, not required
