About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct threat modeling for infrastructure and application-level threat scenarios
Assess security architecture, system interactions, and new products/features from an observed/realized threat and outside-in perspective
Utilize threat intelligence, incident response and detection telemetry, proprietary security tooling, and internal security and risk signals
Correlate research and manage Salesforce’s top threats program
Analyze endpoint, network, and other security-tool logs to identify coverage gaps and bypasses of existing controls
Engage executive stakeholders and translate assessments into actionable recommendations
Drive security uplifts identified from incidents with Product and Enterprise Security partners
Serve as a subject matter expert for Product teams during design solutioning
Design and orchestrate agentic tooling for team analysis capabilities and projects
Provide applied threat insights to Security and leadership stakeholders in partnership with Threat Intelligence
Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations architects and principals to design alerting against realized threats
Mentor junior analysts and engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in threat modeling and security architecture
Significant understanding of threat actor tactics and offensive strategies
Strong research and analytical skills
Experience using Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK, and STRIDE
Familiarity with application security and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
In-depth knowledge of cloud security and cloud architecture fundamentals
Strong understanding of exploitation and abuse threats across SaaS and PaaS providers
Proficiency in analyzing logs from various security tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A related technical degree required
