About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a subject matter expert on how K-12 institutions leverage Salesforce solutions
- Prospect and generate new contractual relationships with K-12 schools and districts
- Develop sales plans for assigned accounts and geographies
- Collaborate with Account and Territory team members to identify target accounts
- Create and drive revenue within a specified region and/or list of named accounts
- Generate opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting into current Salesforce customers
- Own the full sales cycle, including lead generation, deal strategy, pricing and packaging, and deal closure support
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation through networking and associations
- Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting
- Ensure customer satisfaction and contract retention
- Work as part of a broader Account Team while leading overall account strategy and driving self-generated sales opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of enterprise EdTech sales experience
- Proven track record of sales excellence as an Individual Contributor and in a team environment
- Experience selling at the C level, including Superintendents, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Officers, Procurement, and Executive Management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high-growth environment
- Superior professional presence and business acumen
- Ability to collaborate with solution engineering teams to create compelling demonstration scenarios
- Ability to be effective via online meetings, hangouts, and conference calls
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
- Proven team player in a co-selling environment
